Pretty but smudges

This eyeliner delivers a vibrant color that looks stunning at first, but unfortunately, it doesn't wear well throughout the day. I experienced significant smudging, which was disappointing. It’s great for short wear, but I need something more long-lasting.

Love it but breaks off too easily

This is my absolute favourite liner. You can be super precise with the fine tip. But because of how fine it is, it breaks off quite easily. The only down side is you don't get too much product for the high price point. Still, if you get the hang of it, it is worth the money!

Lovely thin line

This is perfect if you like a very thin accurate line. It smudges well with a brush but sets down quickly and stays put. I bought the bronze colour which is a little bit metallic but not glittery. Looks nice with my hazel eyes. I don’t think you get much so if you use this every day it might run out quite quickly

LOVE IT

I have this pencil in the shade Canyon, a gorgeous dark brown. I like the formula and how fine the tip is, allowing precise application. It's great for the water line as well. I don't like that it's not retractable -- this way, I never know how much product I have left and I'm apprehensive of the moment when I'll only have one eye made up and it will run out. I'd still recommend it though -- it's high quality.

Nice eyeliner but runs out quickly

I really like the Hourglass Mechanical Gel Eye Liner, but there are a few drawbacks. The formula is super smooth and glides on easily without tugging, and the pigmentation is intense. I wear it on my upper lid without smudging, although I do use a primer first. However, there’s very little product in the twist-up design, so it runs out fast. It’s amazing, but I wish it lasted longer for the price!

Easy

I love this because it has a fine point. It works like a mechanical pencil but it doesn't retract, so you quickly get used to how many 'clicks' to turn it. It has also never bothered my eyes, and it stays put all day.

Lovely eye liner

The Hourglass mechanical gel eye liners are lovely to use. They are super thin which means you can get a really nice line. There is a short period after application in which you can smudge to your liking and then they set. Lovely selection of colours. My only complaint is that they don't seem to last very long.

Smudges

I got this as a softer alternative to liquid eyeliner and while it’s easy to use and achieves the effect I was looking for, I’m disappointed to find it smudges after a while. I’d imagine this would be even more problematic for anyone who plans to use it in their waterline
