Disappointing Fit and Misleading Color

I was really excited about this Mac Duggal gown in gold, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. First, the color is not as pictured—it looks completely different in person. The cut of the dress is also strange; it accentuates the stomach in an unflattering way, even if you don’t have much of one. In the back, it bunches up awkwardly, creating an unbalanced look instead of a sleek fit. The fabric is also disappointing—the sleeves are uncomfortable and itchy, making it unpleasant to wear. Overall, the design does not contour the body well, making it feel unstructured and aging rather than elegant. I’ve tried on other Mac Duggal dresses, and honestly, the brand seems to be more about the name than quality. The materials and designs are not flattering, and for the price, it’s just not worth it. Way too expensive for what you get.

Let me just say how gorgeous it is. Couple of small things: sleeves are a bit tight and the decolte is a bit big, but it can be fixed with a padded bra. Length is great for any heels you choose. I am 5’5 and 177lbs and size 12 is great!

Bought for my son’s wedding and it’s not until October so I haven’t worn it, besides trying it on. It’s a lovely dress and ordered it early just in case it sold out.

This gown is absolutely stunning. I had to return it though, the fit was not right for me. I so wanted to keep this dress., but couldn’t even zip the top and it was same size as other Mac Duggal dresses.

I have not worn it yet. I have tried it on and it is such a stunning and gorgeous dress. I will be wearing it to my daughter wedding. I look forward to wearing it. True to its size. I ordered a size 4. I am 138 lbs, 5”4.

This gown is absolutely gorgeous. Sadly, I had to return it. I’m 5’2” and the gown is WAY TOO long for me. And a bit tight across the bum. I wish they made their gowns petite for us shorter girls. The sleeves are a little itchy for me. ( I have sensitive skin) A beautiful gown for a tall slender woman.
