If you can get it PERFECT, it's a great product
TL;DR It takes way too much effort to use this "correctly" and you might still end up with a weird looking glow. IMO, it's too finicky. My Process: I am quite pale and have dry skin, so I moisturize and exfoliate like crazy before using this — in-shower full-body exfoliation with glove made of nuts...

I'm not sure how anyone could say this was difficult to use. Put it in like you do a moisturizer, there's no way to mess this up! Make sure you lotion your knees, elbows, etc. before use like most self tanners! Love this stuff!!

This self tanner goes on easy and the color is great. The color is dark and it's not orange.

I like this stuff. Definitely need to rub it in very well. Its clear and not messy. Does absorb into skin pretty quickly. I like to use this product right after my shower. I have applied with bare hands, just need to be very careful when washing hands so you dont get water marks on other parts of your body. To avoid the whole washing hands part, I just use tight latex gloves. I have applied this and went to bed and woke up darker. Can turn a lil orange if you use to much product.

I purchased this because it was cute and affordable when I went to my local Ulta. It smells nice and is a thick-to-watery formulation. I watched a few tiktoks about this product and followed a few tips. moisturize dry areas. apply 1-2 pumps per limb and RUB LIKE YOUR LIFE (TAN) DEPENDS ON IT. I've read that the best way to avoid streaks is by rubbing it in until it is DRY and no longer wet. I put it on at 8:15 am and it is currently 11:50 and I don't really see a difference. the packaging doesn't say how long to leave it on because it's technically a rinse-free formulation. but I looked it up online and it said 4 hours minimum. I don't really see a difference yet. will update if anything changes.
