Sounds counterintuitive. When the mask was applied at night, it is very thick and sticky. It was also very hard to remove due to how sticky it was if you wanted to wash off the remainder in the morning. I put this on at night before bed and wake up with moisturized lips. It glides on smoothly amd feels velvety. IMO it's not goopy or too sticky. A little goes a long ways. Good product!
