Plus, the IceArmor by Clam Defender Parka for Men features the safety and security of a float suit that keeps you above water should you end up falling through the ice. This built-in Motion Float technology adds buoyancy without sacrificing motion. Although this jacket will save your life during an ice break, it is not Coast Guard approved as a personal floatation device. Built with the ice-angler in mind, the IceArmor by Clam Defender Parka's other great features include a protective and removable hood, zippered cool-down vents on the chest, a rapid drain system at the bottom of the jacket and sleeves, 3M™ Scotchlite® reflective piping throughout, and a 2-way YKK® front zipper.
